The Video Creator Badge is Eurofurence's seal of approval for video creators like streamers or vloggers. It is meant to recognize the dedication and hard work our creators invest in making Eurofurence special, and it also serves as a symbol of your commitment to ethical media creation. If you make vlogs or live-streams at Eurofurence, you may want to show that you are committed to fair, unbiased and positive reporting about Eurofurence, its participants and visitors. Also that you will not ridicule Eurofurence events, the organizer Eurofurence e.V., their affiliates or the participants and visitors of the event and will not make up or spread untrue / exaggerated claims about any of them.
The Video Creator Badge does not replace your Attendee Badge, it is an additional badge.
The Video Creator Badge contains information about the platform you are using, which name you use there and the profile picture of the channel. Also there is a QR-code with the link to the channel.
Every person who is allowed to make videos for a channel needs a own Video Creator Badge and has to sent an own request. The channel owner has to confirm every person that requests a Video Creator Badge for the channel.
The channel of every approved video creator will be promoted on the Eurofurence website.
Everyone should wear the Video Creator Badge visibly while filming / streaming.
Everyone should respect if people don't want to be filmed / in a stream.

Question:Do I get special permissions with the Video Creator Badge?
Answer:Please refer to our Rules of Conduct at the point "Photography and Video".
The Video Creator Badge does not grant you any special permission. Like entering general restricted areas or filming / streaming in areas, rooms or events, where it is restricted as posted on location. Filming / streaming inside a panel room usually requires the permission oft the panel host.
